Dr. Götz Albert
Dr. Götz Albert is Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Lupus alpha. Prior to joining Lupus alpha in 2003, he was at DB Cargo AG and head of stock analysis at Independent Research. Before his switch to the financial industry, he worked in university research. At Lupus alpha he manages Germany’s largest small & mid cap team. He has been CIO on the board responsible for Portfolio Management, Research and Analysis since the beginning of 2019 .
Björn Conrad is one of the leading experts for China in Germany. As co-founder and CEO he brings his core expertise on China's technological and digital transformation to Sinolytics, a consultancy specializing in the Chinese market. Conrad also worked for the World Bank and the United Nations, before he was appointed Deputy Director for Research of the think tank MERICS, the Mercator Institute for China Studies in Berlin.
Mohamed A. El-Erian
Mohamed A. El-Erian is currently the Chief Economic Advisor of Allianz, the corporate parent of PIMCO, where he formerly served as CEO (2007-2014). Previously, he served as president and CEO of the Harvard Management Company and draws on 15 years’ experience at the IMF in Washington DC. As previous chair of President Obama’s Global Development Council, El-Erian is internationally recognized for his expertise on global economic and finance topics. He is author of two New York Times bestsellers.
Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Grube
Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Grube is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Hamburg harbor and logistics group HHLA. Mobility has been a recurring theme throughout his professional career. From 2009 to 2017 he was chairman of the board of Deutsche Bahn AG. Previously, Rüdiger Grube held various senior activities for Messerschmitt Bölkow-Blohm, Deutsche Airbus GmbH, as well as Daimler AG.
Prof. Dr. Horst Köhler
Prof. Dr. Horst Köhler was President of the Federal Republic of Germany from 2004 to 2010. Prior to this, he was President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in 1998 and Managing Director of the IMF in 2000. Horst Köhler campaigns for sustainable financial market regulation and lasting partnerships with Africa. From August 2017 to May 2019 he was the personal envoy for Western Sahara for UN Secretary-General António Guterres.
Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Uwe Krüger
Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Uwe Krüger is Head, Industrials, Business Services, Energy & Resources and Joint Head of the Portfolio Management Group at Temasek. The Singapore investment company manages a total investment volume of over 300 billion USD. Before joining Temasek in 2018, the Doctor of Physics was among others the CEO of WS Atkins plc, Operations Partner at TPG, the President of Cleantech Switzerland and the CEO of OC Oerlikon Management AG. In 2016, he won the European CEO of the Year Award.
Ralf Lochmüller is managing partner and CEO of Lupus alpha. He is responsible for Strategy & Planning as well as Clients & Markets. He has been active in asset management for more than 30 years - among others at Chase AG in Frankfurt and at Invesco, the US-UK Investment company. In October 2000, he founded Lupus alpha with four partners.
Andrea Martin is responsible for managing the IBM Watson IoT Center in Munich since July 1, 2019. Before that she was Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of IBM for the DACH region. In her role she draws on more than 25 years’ experience in the international service business as IT Specialist, Consultant and IBM Distinguished Engineer. She is in constant touch with global experts on topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Quantum Computing and Internet of Things. In 2018, she was appointed as an expert member of the KI Enquete Commission of the German Bundestag.
Alexander Raviol is Partner and CIO Alternative Solutions at Lupus alpha. After graduating in physics, he gained extensive capital market experience among others as an asset manager at Dresdner Bank in Frankfurt and as a portfolio manager at UBS and HSH Nordbank AG. In 2006 he joined Lupus alpha as Head of Quality & Risk Management, where he is responsible for product development of alternative investment strategies.
Prof. Dr. Andreas Rödder
Prof. Dr. Andreas Rödder is one of Germany’s leading historians. He is Professor of Contemporary History at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and has been a guest professor at Brandeis University, Boston (Ma.) and at the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as a Fellow at the Historical College in Munich. The renowned researcher highlights ways in which Germany can help Europe play a strong role in the world, whilst balancing German interests with those of the rest of Europe.
Jörg Schmidt is Senior Portfolio Manager in Multi Asset at Union Investment. He focuses on alternative investment strategies in UCITS format. In addition, he manages one of the first sustainable multi-asset fund formats in the German market and helped develop the associated investment process.
Anselm Wagner is Head of Securities Management at the Bayerische Versorgungskammer, the largest public pension fund in Germany, managing an investment volume of approximately 77 billion euros of 2.2 million insured. Together with his team, he currently 9manages around 60 billion euros.
Corinna Wohlfeil initially worked as an investment advisor after graduating with a degree in business studies with a focus on banking, before assuming responsibility for Deutsche Bank’s Business TV in 1997. In 2001, she joined news channel n-tv as a presenter and editor. She quickly became known to an audience of millions with her daily “Märkte am Morgen” and “Telebörse” broadcasts and live reports from the floor of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
