

Dr. Götz Albert
Dr. Götz Albert is Managing Partner at Lupus alpha, CIO and Head of Portfolio Management Small & Mid Caps. He has been with Lupus alpha since 2003, having previously worked for DB Cargo AG and then as Head of Equity Analysis at IndependentResearch. Before entering the financial sector, he worked in university research. Today he heads the largest Small & Mid Caps team in Germany.

Nikolaus Blome
Nikolaus Blome is Head of Politics and Economics at RTL and ntv, as well as an online columnist for the news magazine "Der Spiegel". His previous positions include roles at the “Tagesspiegel”, “WELT”, and “BILD”, where he served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief responsible for the newspaper’s politics and economics section.

Armin von Buttlar
Armin von Buttlar has been a member of the Executive Board of Aktion Mensch e.V. since 2009. Prior to this, he held executive positions as CFO at various companies, including Maxdata AG, Leybold Vacuum GmbH, and the Merz Group.He is a trained banker and studied economics at the University of Witten/Herdecke.

Dr. Thomas "Tom" Enders

From 2005 to 2019, he successfully led the European aerospace group Airbus (formerly EADS) as CEO. He has also served as President of the German Aerospace Industries Association and the Atlantik-Brücke.

Bernd Franken
Since 2014, Bernd Franken has been Managing Director for Capital Investments at the North Rhine Doctors' Pension Fund (Nordrheinische Ärzteversorgung), overseeing assets totaling €18.5 billion. Prior to this, and following various other roles—primarily in church-related institutions—he served as Executive Board Member for Capital Investments at the Church Pension Fund of the Association of German Dioceses (KZVK) in Cologne.

Gary Gensler
Gary Gensler served as Chair of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) until January 2025. He now teaches and conducts research as a Senior Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management, focusing on topics such as artificial intelligence and financial technology. Throughout his career, Gensler has held numerous high-level public sector positions. He began his professional journey with 18 years at Goldman Sachs, where he ultimately became a Partner.

Dr. Stephan Leithner
Dr. Stephan Leithner has been CEO of Deutsche Börse AG since 2025 and has served on the company’s Executive Board since 2018. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at Deutsche Bank—including three years as a member of the Executive Board—and was a Partner at EQT. He also worked as a Partner at McKinsey & Company and began his professional career at the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance at the University of St. Gallen.

Ralf Lochmüller
Ralf Lochmüller is a Founding Partner and the CEO of Lupus alpha. He is responsible for the areas of Strategy & Planning as well as Marketing & Corporate Communications. With over 30 years of experience in asset management, he has held roles at institutions such as Chase AG in Frankfurt and the U.S.-UK investment firm Invesco. In October 2000, he co-founded Lupus alpha together with four partners.

Zanny Minton Beddeos
Zanny Minton Beddoes is the Editor-in-Chief of „The Economist“ and a renowned expert on global economic affairs, widely respected for her authoritative views on the world economy. Prior to joining „The Economist“, she worked at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and served as an advisor to the Polish Minister of Finance. She is also a member of the editorial board of the weekly newspaper „DIE ZEIT“.

Verena Pausder
Verena Pausder, as Chairwoman of the Startup Association, advocates among other things for generating more late-stage capital, sustainably promoting deep-tech startups, improving the transfer of research, and strengthening entrepreneurship overall in Germany. Hans Joachim "Aki" Reinke
Hans Joachim „Aki“ Reinke joined the Union Investment Group in 1991 and has served as CEO on its Executive Board since 2010, responsible for its strategic development and management. He began his career in 1987 at Volksbank Wachtberg, where from 1990 onwards he led the wealth management division and later the passive business area. Reinke is a trained banker and holds a diploma in banking management (ADG).

Carsten Roemheld
Carsten Roemheld has been a Capital Markets Strategist at Fidelity International since 2014. Dr. Markus Zuber
Dr. Markus Zuber is a Partner at Lupus alpha, a member of the Executive Committee, and serves as CSO leading the Clients & Markets division. Before joining Lupus alpha, he was Sales Director at DekaBank, where he managed projects to intensify the fund business for savings banks. Prior to that, the graduate business economist worked as a research associate at Goethe University Frankfurt, where he also earned his doctorate.

Corinna Wohlfeil
Corinna Wohlfeil initially worked as an Investment Advisor after graduating with a degree in business studies with a focus on banking, before assuming responsibility for Deutsche Bank’s Business TV in 1997. In 2001, she joined the news channel n-tv as apresenter and editor. She quickly became known to an audience of millions through the daily stock market programme “Telebörse” and her live reports from the Frankfurt trading floor.

Dr. Melinda Crane
Dr. Melinda Crane is a sought-after political commentator. An experienced journalist, lawyer and political economist, she analyses geopolitical developments and transatlantic politics for various German radio and television stations as well as international organisations and corporations.
